#46 - 1956 Chevy Bel Air Convertible

This Bel Air convertible was completed in late 2000 with a ‘frame-off’restoration. It is painted red & white from head to toe-- Inside the doors, under-body, under dash, even the entire trunk floor-- and just everywhere.

I wanted it to look ‘stock’ when driving down the road, but I also wanted it to have a modern drive train. So it does look stock, but it has upgrades as follows:
**New Goodwrench 350 crate motor from Ryan Chevrolet
**700-R4 transmission remanufactured by General Motors
**Power steering, Power brakes - disc brakes in the front and drum in the rear

It has the original bias ply tire style that actually drive very nicely on these roads. They were purchased from Diamondback tire company. Includes a new wide whitewall spare tire.
